  • Greenwood Papercut Ketubah $490.00

The visual metaphor of the coming together of the bride and groom and the fusion of their separate lives becoming one is particularly poignant in the Greenwood ketubah. The two trees flanking the ketubah's text are separate entities, and yet, their roots grow towards each other, meet and begin to intertwine.

Above, their branches and leaves spread out and unite to create a canopy; a bridge in the sky with the words from Song of Songs: I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine. Below, a shelter is formed by the foliage above, providing a place where two deer may find refuge and seek repose This simple image encapsulates the hopes and aspirations of the new couple, who come to each other as individuals, making a bond that strengthens one another, as they grow while sharing their life together.

The words from Song of Songs 2:2-3: form a border around the ketubah Like the rose maintaining its beauty among the thorns, so is my beloved Like the fragrant apple among the barren trees of the forest, so is my beloved Giclee print with hand-applied 24 karat gold

  • The Forest Keepers Ketubah $420.00

Flocks of doves take to the air as a new day dawns upon the darkened forest. A buck and a doe greet the dawn at the edge of the woods–curious, alert, yet unafraid, sure of their place not just beside each other but also in the forest; it belongs to them as much as they belong to it.

The Forest Keepers is perfect for the down-to-earth couple that exists in quiet harmony with the world and each other, mindful of the old ways and aware of its role in maintaining the tree of life. May the seeds you sow together rise tall as the forest that love and faith planted.

This is a Papercut Ketubah: it is made with two layers of paper–a laser-cut design mounted atop a background. The Ketubah text is printed on the background paper and then placed carefully underneath the top layer of the cut-out design, eliminating the possibility of accidentally crushing or ripping the delicate structure while signing. Everything from design and layout, to the crafting process and final creation, lends itself to a high-quality work of art and overall attention to detail.

  • Karmei Yerushalayim Papercut Ketubah $400.00

Symbolic motifs abound in the Karmei Yerushalayim (Jerusalem Vineyards) ketubah. Two peacocks (beauty) flanking a pomegranate tree (plenty) are bathed in golden light. The clusters of grapes surrounding the text remind us of the wine, which plays a central part of the wedding ceremony.

Wine is symbolic of the life cycle. Just as the grape juice is transformed to something that improves with age, so may the marriage bring increasing joy throughout the years. Beneath the text is the city of Jerusalem, always cherished in our hearts and minds.

The Karmei Yerushalayim paper-cut ketubah is a double-layered giclee print, hand-embellished with 24-karat gold.

  • Leaves of Love Papercut Ketubah $490.00

At first glance, the Leaves of Love ketubah with its celestial blue palette lifts one up to the heavens. Mythical leaves surround the ketubah. They suggest a peacock's glorious fan or precious filigreed jewelry. Above, a golden menorah reminds us of the light of the Torah that illuminates the darkness. This exquisitely executed ketubah is constructed of two paper cut layers.

The multi-layer construction gives a perception of depth, while the artistic composition directs our eye both above and below. There is a careful visual allusion to the significance of the wedding contract and to the sanctity of the union of the bride and the groom. The artwork is a giclee print enhanced with 24-karat gold leaf.
