What is the Best Price Guarantee?

We are so committed to giving you the lowest price that, if you find anywhere on the Internet the same Ketubah for a lower price–we will match the price! Read more about our best price guarantee here.

    What is a ‘Personalization’?

The Ketubah text is a contract and when we send it to a couple, the contract itself includes blank spaces for information like, your names, the date, the location, and so forth. At the wedding, the Rabbi fills in all of the information by hand himself. However, most (about 80%) of all couples ask us to fill that information in beforehand because we can do it in the same font and calligraphy as the rest of the text, so it is seamlessly integrated in. The only thing hand-written are the signatures.

Do your prices include shipping and handling?

Our prices do not include shipping and handling. But we pride ourselves on having the most reasonable prices. If you see a lower price anywhere for the same Ketubah — we will match it!

What kind of paper are your Ketubot printed on?

Each artist offers different types of papers and printing techniques. The most common, Giclée Fine Art Print is a cotton blend paper with pigment based ink process to re-create prints with a special focus on texture and color.

What size will the Kebutah be?

Each artist offers different sizes. Some have more options to accommodate all price points, other may only offer one specific size for each Ketubah. This happens especially on paper cut Ketubot, since the designs are very complicated the size can not change.

What Hebrew text will you use?

Orthodox Ketubot uses only Orthodox Texts. Each artist may have a variant but most choose the text offered by the Rabbinical Council of America, and the Rabbinical Assembly of Israel for Sephardi and Ashkenazi options. We understand each Rabbi prefers different conventions — we will work with your Rabbi to make sure that your text is 100% kosher.

    What is the Rush Fee?

A Rush fee is an industry standard for any order placed with in 3 weeks of the expected delivery date. Each Ketubah takes time to create, there fore the artist would need to stop working on any other Ketubah in order to make the three week deadline. Generally, each artist establishes his or her own rules when it comes to their rush fee. Some may not offer personalization, while others will just charge more. Either way it is always best to inquire with each individual artist.

What do you need from me in order to create a Ketubah?

Non-personalized Ketubah: We need an address of somewhere we can send it.

Personalized Ketubot: We need your text preference, the details for your text — names, place, dates and your Rabbi’s preferred conventions.

    How can I contact you?

Use the contact form above or send us an email. Esti, our Ketubah Concierge, at esti@orthodoxketubot.com — or even give us a call, at +1 (646) 481-2768.

Will my Ketubah look exactly like the design on your website?

Due to differences in computer and printing colors, some colors may not look the exact shade that they appear on the website. However they will be substituted with printer-friendly colors that look just as good as what you see. There will be almost no noticeable difference between the design on the website, and the Ketubah when it has printed.
